  • MSL Sports and Entertainment today announced that simultaneous live performances by Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, ZZ Top, Maroon 5, our very own Dwight and a slate of other renowned artists will highlight the agenda at about 20 Division I universities nationwide on April 18 for the inaugural Gridiron Bash(TM), timed for the evening before Spring Games. Gridiron Bash(TM), the Ultimate Fan Competition(TM), will be the largest single-day sports and entertainment event ever to take place on college campuses.

  • Dwight Yoakam and Vince Vaughn were at the Crystal Palace in Bakersfield on Sunday January 6th, after taping a segment for Country Music Television's "Top 20 Countdown."

    The country music star and popular film actor were promoting Vaughn's upcoming film "Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show," scheduled to appear in theaters February 8.

  • Tim McGraw and Dwight Yoakam have accepted roles in the romantic comedy Four Christmases, which will be released during the 2008 holiday season. The cast also includes Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek and Reese Witherspoon. John Favreau and Vince Vaughn, who co-starred in the 1996 film, Swingers, are also in the cast, along with Kristin Chenoweth. Seth Gordon will direct for New Line Cinema and Spyglass Entertainment.

    TThe Salt Lake city Tribune ranks Dwight Sings Buck number 7 in the top ten for the year.  They note: as much as the dignity of albums has been stripped away because of everyone's penchant for downloading singles from the Internet, there are still albums released in 2007 that resonate throughout.
