DWIGHT TALKS LENNON, BECK, & 3 PEARS

  • "Life is what goes on while you're making other plans," said Dwight in his interview with "CBS This Morning" earlier today. Dwight, who often uses this famous John Lennon quote, was responding to host Gayle King's question on why it's been seven years since his last album.

    In his interview with "CBS This Morning," Dwight took time to recall how the recent Martin Scorsese documentary, "George Harrison: Living in the Material World," gave him the idea for the album title. "They cut to John and John was wearing, simultaneously, three pairs of sunglasses. Like big wraparound movie star kind of things. I looked up and said...'So there you are, John. Three pairs of glasses.' It's just tongue-in-cheek to the Beatles and John."
