FAN NAME: Jacdoll
LOCATION: San Martin, California
FAN SINCE:
23 Years. We were having a house warming party in 1986 and listening and watching music videos on CMT and Dwight's Honky Tonk Man video came on and I was hooked, lined and sinkered!
FIRST DY CONCERT:
It was at the Saddle Rack Night Club in San Jose. It was in the 80's and I was so thrilled to finally having the chance to see him in concert. We were pretty close to the stage and he was wearing the tightest jeans on earth. WOW!
FAVORITE DY ALBUM AND/OR SONG:
My favorite album is "The Very Best of Dwight Yoakam" It has some songs from the early years and the later years. A great sampling and he looks terrific on the cover. My favorite song is "Floyd County".
FAVORITE DY MOVIE ROLE:
I would have to say "South of Heaven West of Hell". Dwight makes a great cowboy. And it's all Dwight. Music, acting, directing, etc.
LAST TIME YOU'VE SEEN DY IN CONCERT:
At the Saratoga Mountain Winery. We were siting in the second row right in front of Dwight. Can you image that?
HOW DWIGHT HAS AFFECTED YOUR LIFE:
80% of the time when I listen to music, it's Dwight. When listening to his music, I cannot help to be happy. Not even the stresses of work can bring me down. I have every CD of Dwight's.
ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD:
My husband knows that I love Dwight's music so much that he sings one of Dwight's songs when his band plays at a local restaurant.
