FAN SINCE:
I became a fan after seeing and hearing Dwight in person at the 1987 ACM Award show. I always enjoyed his songs, but seeing someone live and up close makes all the difference in the world as far as really being able to appreciate their talent, not mention good looks, great body and movements!
FIRST DY CONCERT:
The first time I actually saw Dwight in concert was the late 80's?? when Clint Black opened for him. We had 2nd row seats and could see him perfectly.
FAVORITE DY ALBUM AND/OR SONG:
My favorite Dwight album and song now is Dwight Sings Buck, Close Up The Honky Tonks.
FAVORITE DY MOVIE ROLE:
My favorite movie is Panic Room.
LAST TIME YOU'VE SEEN DY IN CONCERT:
The last concert I saw was this past November at State Line. Dwight really put on a great show. The show and seats were excellent, but the machines weren't! I was sorry I didn't win the M&G for this one. It would be fun to have a new picture with him now. Twenty years later--Never mind!
HOW DWIGHT HAS AFFECTED YOUR LIFE:
His music and movies have had an affect on my life by being able to help me relax and forget everything for awhile. His music is invigorating and also soothing. He has that very distinct voice. You can always tell it is him. And the movies really keep your attention!
ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD:
The story behind the picture is my friend and I were friends with Gene Weed of the ACM. He would give us back stage passes for the award shows. Dwight was standing outside of the Green Room and was looking great as always. After the show, he was at the party and I was able to get a couple of pictures then. He has the prettiest eyes.
I also have a couple of pictures of Dwight and Buck on stage from the 1988 ACM show, and also after the show. I was in the front row then, and he was sure looking good in that black leather outfit.
I also saw Dwight at one of the ACM Christmas parties. Never got a chance to get any pictures that time.
